Ivy Beech was born and raised in Los Angeles. Throughout middle & high school, she was part of the Los Angeles Children's Chorus & sang professionally with the LA Philharmonic, LA Master Chorale, and LA Opera. She was a principal performer & sang the Shepherd's Solo in LA Opera's production of TOSCA directed by Placido Domingo when she was in High School. Ivy took an acting class her sophomore year and fell in love with it and was very active in plays and musicals for the duration of her time at Notre Dame High School & Hamilton Music Academy.
She earned her BFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie BFA Actor Training Program and in London.
In London, she studied at Shakespeare's Globe Theater and London International School of Performing Art, and worked with such living legends as John Barton and Barbara Houseman, among others.
Ivy is playing Shelby in The Actors Co-op Theater company’s critically acclaimed production of STEEL MAGNOLIAS directed by Cameron Watson.
